Alta is here!

The bike was developed by a collaboration of Norwegian companies;Bleed (Graphic Design), Frost Product (Product Design) and Norway Says (Furniture Design) and manufactured by Hard Rocx. The initial motivation came from a love for cycle racing amongst friends in the three companies but the end design was inspired by the single-speed/fixed-wheel cult amongst bike couriers in cities like San Francisco, New York and Tokyo. Another important design factor was to keep weight to a minimum (20lbs) so that it’s easily carried upstairs by owner’s to make it possible to display the distinctive design in their living space.

Introducing the OM Flyer
“The OM” himself Scot “OM(Old Man)” Breithaupt who many refer to as BMX’s founding father. In the event you were wondering where SE(Scot Enterprises) Bikes came from. We just received the limited edition OM Flyer. This bike has a heritage of over 20 years in the BMX world. Many have imitated but none will surpass this looptail beauty. The OM Flyer is a 26 inch wheel BMX bike. Essentially a BMX bike built around the same size wheel as a mountain bike. This bike is for all the old folks who want to relive their glory days on a BMX bike, but know that they wouldn’t feel comfortable on a 20 inch wheel. The OM Flyer can hook one heck of a wheelie, and as a wise man once said “It only takes one to make a museum!”

*Note-If you make any Mcdonald’s comments about the paint scheme you’re not allowed to test ride it;)
A
velodrome is an arena for
track cycling. Modern velodromes feature steeply banked oval tracks, consisting of two 180-degree circular bends connected by two straights. The straights transition to the circular turn through a moderate easement curve.
Bicycles on velodromes have no multiple gears or brakes. They employ a fixed rear gear, or cog, that does not freewheel. This helps maximize speed, reduces weight, avoids sudden braking while nevertheless allowing the rider to slow by pushing back against his pedals.

This new T-Shirt celebrates Track Cycling from the 1984 Olympics.
