The Customer Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing all customer communication channels, events and non-mechanical services at Paradise Garage.  They will work closely with the shop owners and department managers in order to ensure prompt and coordinated customer care, service delivery and exceptional event experiences.  

Areas of Responsibility


The Customer Experience Manager will manage all communication channels for Paradise Garage.  This includes but is not limited to Web customers, Social Media, Email, Phone, Rental site, and Service Scheduling site.

Social Engagement

Position will work with owners to plan and implement customer events and clinics; Coordinate resources, calendars and staff time for events; Lead marketing outreach around the events; Post-event follow-up

Logistical Planning

The CCS will be in charge of coordinating all aspects of our Bike Rental Service and Service Scheduling App; Oversee new Delivery Service.


Engage community business and non-profit partners to collaborate on events, clinics and charitable opportunities 


Experience with in-person and online Customer Service

Experience coordinating services +/or events

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven love of social media engagement

Knowledge and experience with bicycles helpful

Willing to work some evenings and weekends

The Sales Lead is responsible for cultivating authentic customer relationships, educating customers on products and matching them with the best bicycle and bike equipment for their needs.  This person will serve as a resource on the sales floor for product knowledge and experience.  They will also be proficient in using our POS, rewards program, processing financing, completing all aspects of a bike sale, and following up with customers.


Proven experience building customer relationships

Personality that fits with our existing team and brand (honest, personable, driven but relaxed)

Experience closing sales in a tier 1 or outdoor retail environment

Knowledge of bicycles and multiple types of riding - bike shop experience preferred


Hourly based on experience + Bonuses and benefits

F/T including early evenings and at least 1 weekend day




The Sales Team member serves as a first point of contact for most customers.  This position will engage and assist customers in exploring bike options, learning more about bike equipment, test riding models, and matching with the perfect bike for their needs!  The team member helps riders with equipment selection, places to ride and community resources.


 Retail or sales experience

 Bicycle knowledge and experience preferred

 Personable verbal communication and drive to be hospitable to all people


Hourly based on experience + Bonuses

P/T including some evening and weekend hours




The Lead Mechanic is responsible for independently completing scheduled work orders in a busy service department.  This position may also include some service writing for bikes that are being checked-in for service as well as some on-the-spot walk-in repairs.  The lead mechanic may also have some supervisory role in mentoring newer service techs. 


Training and experience as a professional bike mechanic

Experience and high level of proficiency in working on a variety of current and vintage road, gravel, mountain and hybrid bikes

Specific skills preferred include wheel-building, suspension service, brake bleeds, tubeless setup

       and ability to completely overhaul and rebuild a bike

Proven experience building customer relationships

The Service Tech is an entry-to-mid level mechanic position.  Responsibilities will include building new bikes out of the box, flat tire repairs, basic scheduled tuneups, maintaining rental fleet, installing bike accessories.  Specific tasks will be dependent on experience, but mentorship opportunities are provided to advance existing skills.  We do not have a program for training 100% brand new mechanics, so some previous experience is needed.


Experience in a bike shop preferred

Knowledge of bike maintenance

Experience with basic bike repairs


Hourly based on experience

P/T or F/T including early evenings and at least 1 weekend day.  Some positions are seasonal.
